Decent cooktop, easily scratches.

MN Girl in GA 4/16/2025

I have been using my cooktop for the last few months. The burners and grates are heavy duty, the cooktop looks nice and sleek. The stainless does scratch easily along with the knobs.

I bought this along with vertical retractable downdraft vent along with wall oven for my kitchen renovation. It™€™s been only a little more than a week, don™€™t know how long it will last, but my previous experience with JennAir kitchen appliances has been great, The old wall oven and gas cooktop with build-in downdraft vent lasted over 30 years.

5 burner Cooktop

BAPs 2/8/2023

We purchased this cooktop about 6 weeks ago and installed it 4 weeks ago. After using the cooktop for just 2 weeks, 3 of the so called brass burners have completely discolored and look like aluminum. The 4th one has begun to fade. Very disappointed.

Stripe17 2/22/2022

We had his installed about a month ago, and so far it has done the job! Heats things up quickly, but with enough control to not burn delicate things. Simmers well and boils water quickly! We stay on top of keeping it clean, but it does seem to clean up well! Also like the lightup knobs!

Fantastic Appliance

Robert58 12/28/2021

I purchased this gas cooktop about 1 month ago and I think this is one of the best even heat cooktops I have owned. We needed a compact cooktop for our kitchen and one that was built with quality. This cooktop does the job. The only negative is that it has 5 burners and in a 36" cooktop it does become a little close with larger pots on the cooktop and room for added items.

Quality Cooktop

Susan 98 10/15/2021

I am very pleased with the quality and appearance of this cooktop. It is much more powerful than my previous cooktop and boils water quickly. It is easy to clean, although the grates may be heavy for some people. You realistically can't use all 5 burns at the same time unless you use smaller pots. I do wish there was a simmer setting on more than one burner.

Charles53 7/9/2021

We bought this cooktop as part of a kitchen update. I like the look and feel of the unit but the burners do seem to burn quite hot even on low settings. The SS seems to easily scratch so careful cleaning is a must when getting below the grates. Feels very durable and has an industrial feel when cooking showing it's solid construction.

Lots to like!

KWMN 3/23/2021

Overall, I really like this gas cooktop. We™€™ve had it for a couple of weeks now. I have always had an electric cooktop so getting used to cooking on gas. One thing I didn™€™t expect is the handles on my pots are now too hot to touch when cooking w/medium or high heat. This was never a problem w/my electric cooktop. Also, gas cooks a bit hotter but 2 burners have a simmer feature which works great. And I really like having 5 burners™€"pots definitely fit on all 5! The automatic reignite feature is a must as well. Easy to clean!

Beautiful, efficient, low profile, easy to clean

mlsanddjn 5/23/2020

We are about 2 months in on this purchase. It is absolutely beautiful. The gold metal about the burners is very pretty and the flat removable burner heads really nice. The handles are metal and add a nice elegance while being efficient. I love the blue light beneath them that tells you if you have left one on accidentally. The profile is one of the lowest for this type of cooktop - meaning that you have more space between the grates and the hood. Cleaning is super easy as everything lifts off. I recommend hand washing the grates. It is super easy and will retain the finish better than putting in a dishwasher. I've done both. The one thing that I would complain about is how easy it is to scratch the stainless steel around the handles . Mine became slightly scratched presumably when I wiped salt off of the area around the handles! This happened within 2 weeks of use. Disappointing. However, I would not trade this cooktop for any other on the market regardless of price. It feels sturdy, useful, easy to clean, elegant and oh so pretty. Love it!

NWILLIAMS 3/1/2018

This cooktop is both nice to look at and very functional. The large center burner is great for larger pots and the flush grates make moving pots around really easy. I haven't had to clean up any spills yet but the design seems like it will make that easy. I love the extra burner plate provided for melting and overall the flames are really easy to control. There is a lot of functionality packed into this 5 burner, 30 inch design, which is great for someone who cooks everyday. It looks great in our updated kitchen.

The cooktop Is amazing. It's low profile, the temp adjustment is great and even. My favorite thing is that it's surprisingly easy to clean. Wipes down easy without streaks. The burner grates have nice rubber pads so they don't scratch our counters when cleaning. Love it.
