Great interior volume for a 33" fridge. Wish I'd noticed it wasn't Energy Star - would not have bought it. The water dispenser doesn't really have a tray and dispenser is right a front producing frequent drips down the front. Should have been set back an inch. All considered - three stars.

Basically, the refrigerator works fine, but there was a problem with the installation. The front wheels could not be adjusted to stop the refrigerator from constantly rolling toward you when opening the doors. The Home Depot store sent repairmen to fix this problem, but they could not. I eventually had to fix myself by installing small "door stops" to stop the rolling. Home Depot was made aware of this problem and my "fix".

We've had the fridge less than a month, it is being used by ONE person, and the water dispenser on the door has already quit working. We contacted the repair people through the Amana website, got an appointment for 2/9/2026, and as of today, 2/26/2026, it has still not been repaired.

Can't get service

I bought this 3 weeks ago and registered it successfully. It is running very cold, food freezes, checked with calibrated thermometer and fridge is 29 degrees though temp is set to minimum (1 light). Tried to get service and am told serial number is not valid!!!!!! No way to get around as all voice prompts require model/ serial number. So Amana refuses to provide service. Checking into fil8ng suit.

The product is great except that every time we open the freezer door, there is not enough clearance and the shelves on the door hit the frame when opening and closing. The installers came out to try to adjust it and they did, but as soon as they left, it started hitting again.

The first month has had a couple hiccups. The ice maker was not working. Thanks to a YouTube video demonstrating the reset function on a whirlpool product, it started and has been working normally. Also, while the refrigerator has been working fine and keeping consistent temperature, the freezer seems inconsistent. I recently put a half gallon of ice cream in which slowly melted. Other frozen products seem to have stayed frozen. I will continue to monitor the freezer to see if a service appointment is needed. Overall, if the freezer temperature issue resolves, I would say this is a decent product.

I didn™€™t want one of the big, chrome monsters on the showroom floors, so I waited a month for delivery of this slightly smaller white one. I like how it looks in my kitchen, but after three weeks with it I am struggling with some issues. I can™€™t get the temperature right™€"the presets in the fridge side are either freezing some of my food and drinks or, according to my thermometer, hovering somewhere around 43+ degrees. There™€™s no in between. The ice maker is on the loud side, and three times has randomly spit cubes onto the floor when it dumps into the interior bin; the little door isn™€™t strong enough to hold them back. Overall the design of the water and ice dispenser could be easier and less awkward. The price was reasonable but I™€™m not sure I would choose this make and model again.

For a smaller refrigerator it has lots of space, especially in the door. The moveable shelves are very convenient. The fridge is a bit noisier than I would like. We can hear it running in other rooms of the house, and when the ice drops down it is very loud, even when there is already ice in the storage container.

Decent appliance with a few oversights.

This new unit has been in my home for about 3 months now. The unit serves its basic function however I must mention a few dissappointments beginning with the external water feature. Frequently after water is despensed a drop or two of water drips out, misses the drip tray and contacts and runs down the door face and eventually will reach the floor, This, in my opinion, is an obvious design flaw that will affect customer satisfaction going forward. Secondly another issue being quite obvious is the aesthetics at the bottom of the unit. The two "boxes" at each front corner of the unit are very un-attractive, especially the left side where water/electrical lines are clearly visible. The space between the top of these "boxes" and the bottom surface of the doors seem unnecessarily large and one would wonder why some type of simple fascia was not incorporated to blend the unit bottom into the doors. Finally the unit temperature control should be variable and the on/off switch for the ice maker is not easily accessable.

The refrigerator section is good but the freezer part is so tiny you can hardly fit anything into it. There was none on the floor of the store like it, but they tried to give me an example of what it would look like it. So I am disappointed with it. I would have been happy to give up some refrigerator space to have more freezer space.

My wife and I both like the way this refrigerator is meeting all of our needs. It is just the two of us so space layout meets our storage needs on both sides of the box. Ice dump can be a little noisy but we like the size of the ice cubes so that is not a problem. Getting ice through the door is working fine. We drink bottle water so don't use the door water dispenser.

I ordered this refrigerator the first part of March and it arrived about a month later. I love the ice and water dispenser since I use a loft of ice daily. Plus I like the lock feature on it since I have grand children and one is still a toddler. I had a Roper side by side for years and this one is about the same size as the one I still have (I have it in my garage mostly for water) but it has more door shelf space than my old one

I was wary about buying a side by side with water features in the door, but I am so glad I did! I didn't think the water in the door was necessary, but I use it many times a day. Super convenient since it has crushed or cubed ice, but my favorite is the lock option so my grandson doesn't make a mess on his own. Plenty of room on the inside and the lighting inside the refrigerator is amazing. I can see all of my food and now I was much less because it is all easily visible. Would give 6 stars if it was an option! Great buy!!

I bought my Amana in a pinch because, with the pandemic and the bridge connecting me with a big city and all the super stores being compromised and horrific to navigate, I was limited to shopping and availability of appliances and delivery in my area. I bought this refrigerator about a month or so ago. My Whirlpool freezer quit and this was my only choice for the size of my space (due to pandemic, not much available). Was disappointed that there was no small drawer (just 2 large drawers). Aside from that it worked great until this past week when everything in the refrigerator side started freezing. I turned it down one setting and things were not cold enough. I have a service rep from Amanda coming to look at it. Upset that this expensive refrigerator is not working properly.
